Life is poetry

I process emotions, struggle and strife

In poems, they’re to me the essence of life.

The early sun on a beautiful dawn,

Walking barefoot on a little moist lawn,

A new born child on its mother’s chest,

A musical masterpiece performed at its best.

Moments all’s connected beyond any norms

Are poems that life recites and performs.

Jan H. Hellberg (2023)

It was Open Link Night at dVerse, Grace was hosting and any poem is welcome. And as hardly anyone read it back then I used it again for the 18.01.2024 when Björn is hosting. I hope I can join the virtual bar on Saturday. Come and join us now or another time

    • Thank you, Kim,
My reply seems to have gotten lost, so I’ll add a new thought.

      • I will never forget that, Jan! I think it will be the one and only time any of my conference sessions inspired poetry – and that poem was so lovely. I’m so glad you’re back into poetry mode!

  9. As someone who lacks good verbal communication skills, prose and poetry are my tools to convey messages in the nicest way. Life is indeed poetry, beautifully put ^^.
