Prosery: The great white plane

During my meditation routine I sank deeper and deeper into a relaxed state. Suddenly something was different, a swirling sensation, I felt drawn into a vortex.
For some reason I knew what was happening, I was travelling through time and space.
I felt a cold breeze and opened my eyes to a wide plane of white. An icy cold plane as far as the eye could see.
I was where? I am when?
The snow began
This is a 144-word flash fiction piece for the Prosery prompt on dVerse. Merril is tending the virtual bar at the dVerse Poet’s Pub. The prompt Merril chose are these lines:
“I was where I am
When the snow began”

I enjoyed your time-space travel story, and a very clever use of the prompt line!
Thanks, I did not have time on the day itself, but your prompt sticked. And then I suddenly had some inspiration.
You’re welcome.
As long as the prompt is open, you can respond. It doesn’t have to be the day the prompt is posted.
Very creative use of the prompt line.
Thank you!
You’re welcome.
I like the way you broke up the line.
Thanks, Melissa!
