Tewenty years ago I studied in this city of love and great expectations. Living here has for ever changed my life and me to the better I would claim.

I was living off my parents and that was making my life easier and lighter. Still I took my studies very seriously as I’ve always been veery ambitious. And I did not write many poems or prose back in those days, only letters and my diaries.

And now packing for a short visit to Paris as my dad is turning 80.

It rings in my mind

Paris a movable feast

Some words take many years

I did indeed read the book with the same title by Hemingway when I was studying in Paris. And I wrote the poem on the 1st and 2nd if January 2024.

For New Year’s Kim was hosting a Haibun Monday at the dVerse Poets Pub. We all are human and should show this in our Haibuns.
