This was written for W3 Prompt #178.

I did not fully follow the rules for this one. But could not but follow my inspiration for this poem when I read the promt.

There is a famous poem that I love which is the other inspiration for it, Christian Morgensterns „Fisches
Nachtgesang“ (translates to „Nighttime song of the fish“. You have to scroll a bit, but will easily find it)

  1. Wow, definitely a take I was not suspecting but still easily understood!

  2. I could hear the ‚lub-dub‘ of the heart as I followed your ECG like verse!

  3. Excellent! Love the inspiration too.

  4. Jan, this is so clever—your heartbeat pattern instantly reminded me of a monitor’s pulse. I can see the Morgenstern influence, and I really like how silence itself becomes the poem here.

  5. Interesting take!

  6. I really love where your mind went with this prompt. Well done.
